All about takedowns, joint manipulations, chokes, how to achieve positional dominance on the ground and how to escape from less desirable positions. Emphasis is placed on leverage and how to apply techniques with minimum strength.
BJJ is normally performed in a gi, which serves as a training tool and gives the student a greater element of control.

2012 European Championships - 02/02/2012
Head instructor Raphael Dos Santos returns to the UK with his third European title at the IBJJF European Championships in Lisbon. Raphael won his first and second fights against Cristiano Carvalho and Helio Perdigao to finally face Vugner Siva in the finals.
Dan Lawson and Mark Bauer also attended the event with Raphael, Mark put up a great fight but unfortunately lost his first round. Dan went onto to win his first fight with a cross lapel choke from closed guard, his second match was very close and lost due to referrees decision.

Switzerland results - 18/09/2011
Raphael achieves his second European title in Switzerland, winning gold in the FHJJS European Championships master division.
